Door handle isn’t flush

My T handles are perfect but the S driver handle isn't quite straight. Nothing like this though.

to be noted that it still functions appropriately ie extends on unlock and retracts on lock.

I had this exact thing happen. I heard the bolt or screw that held down one side jiggle down the door. Called for a service and they easily repaired it.

Yes, I have this on my driver side rear door. Added it to the list of nuisance repairs. Can't get into the SC until July 26th.

I have the same issue on LT passenger door that was not detected til I drove the car home. Service center said to not use the door as the handle contacts the door cut out when it is used. Any one know how this fixed.

Make sure it is not going to affect the paint on the door panel from contact. Mine was obvious when I got home and saw the car with the handles closed....at delivery they were opened and not obvious. Both door panels were removed and one of the two misaligned handles has to be replaced....waiting for replacement.

I have the same issue and just took delivery of my R1s in Brooklyn but live in Chester springs pa…going into the service station is not ideal or happening anytime soon pending other issues.

My back driver side door is not installed correctly as you can see in the video…other doors do not respond this way to touch

love the ride but not thrilled with issues only two weeks in

thoughts/help

Same problem on my R1S. The assembly was countersunk in. Service repaired

I have one that’s mid aligned like that…not as bad. So long as it’s not chipping paint and it functions, open a ticket and attach the pic.

Three of the four door handles on my R1T are somewhat misaligned. It not the end of the world and they function fine. However, I am going to have them looked at this week, when I have my spare tire delivered.

My drivers door handle does this, and they are going to take a look when they replace the tonneau cover this May. (had to delete the first post of this as the video was attached twice and I couldn’t get it to delete the duplicate video).

As an update to my door handle issue: When I was in for service to get the new tonneau cover installed, they found that a wiring harness was out of place. This was vibrating up against the handle assembly.

They put it where it was supposed to be, and presto, no more noisy door handle. The work order had a new handle on it, but I bet they didn’t have to actually do that.

Good luck to others getting their handles seated/ adjusted correctly.

Same problem here. Didn’t notice it at pick up last month. Useable, but noticeable and concerned it’s going to rub paint off the hinge side. It’s like the ‘cup’ it sits in is misaligned and the rubber trim isn’t in place properly.
I’m lucky to live only 20 mins from my nearest SC so going there next week. Can hopefully work from ‘their office’ and check out the gear shop while I wait
