After multiple driving sessions, I am happy to report that my AC isn't screaming anymore upon first start up since I updated the software. I never had an issue with the AC until the previous software update. And yes it is hotter than hell down here in Texas. Loving my R1S and the software team for continually to raise the bar and address any unforeseen software issues.
Same here. I noticed AC seems to be quieter now after update.

Disappointed, assumed they were giving us the ability to configure the icons WE CHOOSE to be front and center. Unfortunately, it's only a few of the apps and you can only rearrange the order in which those few apps are displayed.

I wanted to be able to put an icon there for my trip mode and car wash mode. unfortunately, no such ability, which is what I was looking forward to most with this update. What they added in this respect is fairly useless. Most of those icons were already on the screen to begin with weren't they? How quickly we forget. Or I think you had to tap the up arrow to bring them up. So, I guess it's a little nicer that, at least, those items are now front and center. Just wish they'd let us choose what is front and center.

They are letting you choose but it has to be an "app" and not just a singular function.

Correct, this isn't access to any ol' button function in the UI. They gave us the long asked for ability to rearrange the main set of function icons. In particular many owners have wanted a persistent location for the camera to avoid doing the two-tap dance when pulling up to charging stations. So it's the buttons that were there but now we can make one extra icon persistent and arrange the five spots in whatever order is logical for you.

I look forward to not hearing this anymore
I read that two ways? Not hearing the AC, or not hearing people complain about the AC. I especially look forward to the latter!!!

So, my AC seemed to be one of the ones that didn’t “scream” like others have posted, but I have to say after the update, for whatever reason, it’s now ICE COLD when it’s mid-90’s outside… it was NOT that way previously. That’s a welcome change!

I have noticed my steering wheel audio “mute” was no longer working after the update. Would work fine from the center display, but would show mute on the driver display. Did a soft and hard reset last night, see if it resolves today.

Is the charge door not supposed to close on it's own anymore? Even when you shift into drive.

I found myself going 70MPH on the highway with the charge door open yesterday. It won't let you close the door while driving, so I had to pull over on the side of the road so I could close it.

Because they gave us another slot I didn’t even rearrange anything lol. I’m pretty sure the camera icon was already the icon there by default once I updated. Maybe I’ll put settings simply for easier access to the trip meters, but the swipe and tap tap is already faster than tap tap tap.

That is one thing that turns it on, as does touching the screen...

I tried the camp off mode again last night and the screen can only be turned back on by pressing the brake pedal now. Rivian might have changed the mode behavior at some point.

Yup, I swapped the Vehicle app for Camera and added Settings so I can get to the trip meter faster. Glad we get one extra icon now and it's easier to swipe up than to try to hit a small target without looking to get the other app drawer to open.

Has anyone else been having their phone connect to the camp speaker more often? Found mine doing it today quite far from the truck and just playing music. :p Other random note, my camp speaker has been docked forever and was only at 53% SoC and didn't show charging in the display even after removing and replacing it in the dock.
