I woke up to this disturbing sight after 2 launches the previous evening for my teenage niece and nephews first time in the R1S LE.. Back in Black may have been played at a high volume at the time. Although smiles and laughter ensued, it was not worth having a precious flying creature embedded very deeply into the grill.

Even launching in All Purpose... I took delivery last Tuesday. Thursday evening while leaving work, without thinking, I stepped on it as I normally do at the metered on-ramp (not even full send) and promptly smacked my head on the headrest. Was not expecting acceleration to be that much more prompt than my chipped 500 ft-lb X5 diesel.

I bought a new mustang when I was 20. A week after I bought it, a bird flew in the driver’s side window at 80 mph and liquified on the inside of the rear window covering the entirety of the head liner, top of the seats and the windows in feathers and blood. Then I was pulled over by a cop in a car covered in blood with no temp tag. The bird hit the temp tag and knocked it off the rear window, it blew forward and I swerved as I reached to keep it from blowing out the passenger window thereby attracting the cop’s attention to my car. True story.

Our meters are set up in drag race mode in CO (both lanes go green simultaneously). I love being able to smoke almost anyone now - so much fun, and no one expects it in a big SUV.
