App doesn’t wake car

Anyone else with latest update having issues using app for stuff like pre-cool? Normally this works, but today it says cannot wake R1S

I have this on occasion since even before the update. I just wait and do it again. This is not unique to rivian, I have had similar behavior with Hyundai and tesla.

Seems like if you’re on cellular it can take quite a while and on Wi-Fi it’s immediate, like on cellular it can time out too

I am not sure how that works, but it has always been intermittent with my Android A 51 Samsung. Never use a R!T for a Bank Job getway vehicle.

I have a bad habit of swiping up to close apps and I close the Rivian app all the time. When that happens it won't open immediately.

Make sure your "always on......" is selected.

I got a new Pixel 7A and the permissions are jacked up. Both my R1S and Model 3 won't wake on their own. I'm forced to toggle Airplane mode then it's fine. I blame this shitty phone

Yes this.. It would occasionally "fail" but reissuing the action again after like 5-10s would work (though it sometimes took a little longer than normal)

Using a P7 pro... I doubt it's the phone making the app misbehave. And perms can be sorted. This is an issue between Rivian's cloud infra and the vehicle
