Burns/Hines perfectly fits the off-highway and low utilization theme of the last few openings.I vote Burns, OR and Susanville, CA...
Agreed. So does the entire upper Midwest.Burns/Hines perfectly fits the off-highway and low utilization theme of the last few openings.
Unfortunately, Page has V2 chargers, not V3.Yes! Page AZ please!
I did not know it was only for V3. Bummer. That whole area is super limited on fast chargers...Unfortunately, Page has V2 chargers, not V3.
Yes, for several days in a row so far. For the previous 6 months, not so much. They added another one today, Haubstadt, IN. So the rate is now more than one per day.
I do think it's more than one dock per station. Might not be all chargers but there have been reports of 4 or so per station. That map was great, thanks for sharing it @sanzco2
Here in California I see two active: Placerville and oddly enough Santa Cruz. I'm guessing these locations are one magic dock charger each. It's going to be interesting, as more and more roll out, what the functional use cases will be. If stations here and there have one dock, you'll presumably have a line around the block of non Tesla users waiting for it. I guess like a line around the block for the one functional EA charger or whatever.
This weekend will be my first ever charge out in the world with a Rivian... camping trip in Mendocino, coming from Marin. There are a smattering of charging options that are all slow and lean... I have many trepidations being spoiled by Tesla network for the past 3 years. I'm planning to drive up to Ukiah to a RAN.
Those two have been active since March when Tesla rolled out the first 11 sites roughly at the same time. Then two more sites were added over the past 6 months to bring it up to 13. In the past few days they have added another 13.Here in California I see two active: Placerville and oddly enough Santa Cruz.
PlugShare shows you how many CCS connectors there are. Placerville for example shows all 8 are Magic Dock. Do you have any examples where NOT all of the stations are Magic Dock?I do think it's more than one dock per station. Might not be all chargers but there have been reports of 4 or so per station.
No examples, just stuff I've heard but you are probably correct in that all the chargers have CCS connectors. Those two have been active since March when Tesla rolled out the first 11 sites roughly at the same time. Then two more sites were added over the past 6 months to bring it up to 13. In the past few days they have added another 13.
Grand total is now 26 sites in the US.

AFAIK the "only a few Magic Dock per site" theory is not something Tesla has said, but is based on guesses people have been making for the past year about how CCS support would roll out at superchargers. I haven't seen any evidence that they are doing this.
