This is great. As forum members purchase these non-OEM options, can we crowdsource range numbers for each tire as well?

Too many variables for this to be useful IMO. Not just between drivers/vehicles in different locations (environmental impacts) with different use cases, but even across the same driver/vehicle because day to day use can vary.

Am looking for 20" wheels plus winter tires (we live in MA) and my longstanding supplier seems quote familiar with EVs and Rivian. However, am still struggling with the supposed "software adjustment" which only a Rivian service center can do when you change wheel size? That seems non-scaleable policy!

Get 275/60R20 tires and you won't have a need for adjustment.

That's not true. The OE 22s have a load index of 115. And, as stated in the original post, these are all the tires that Discount Tire's own website shows as compatible.

I wanted the widest pool of tire choices when I selected 20 AT's in my config. Looks like it was the right call.

This is a really helpful list. Thanks OP. Question (for a sad 21" configuration person): there are several 275/50/R21 tires available. I understand that the diameter is 1.08" smaller and the load rating of 113 vs 116 equates to reduction of 221 lbs in load rating each tire AND the speedometer might be off by 3%. But if I'm not bothered by the speedo error is it a terrible idea to consider say the Michelin Defender with a 70K wear warranty vs another set of Pirellis with NO tread wear warrant and a lot more cost?

I’ll be coming up on my first 21” tire replacement much much sooner than I thought. 13k miles in and at “4s and 5s” already with rotating in the spare.

Was hoping there would be at least one other option by now.

I've created a list of every compatible tire according to, and sold by, Discount Tire. Effectively, this eliminates anything with a load index of 113 or lower.

It's split into three sheets—one for each wheel diameter. There are some filter views (Data > Filter views) to filter by type, or you can create your own temporary filter view.

Known issues:

• Some tires have multiple variants (e.g. the Pirelli Scorpion All Terrain Plus comes in the OE 116H, but also comes in a 126S). Only one variant is shown.

I have the 21" wheels and I think when they wear out if they still only have a single tire I'll be buying a set of 20". I wonder how many people will do the same. Especially with the pricing of the tires if you plan on keeping the vehicle for a while the price can quickly add up.

Just bought a set of 22's from another member here for this very reason. I burned through my 21's in 16k miles.

People lamenting about the 21s forget that by having the 21s you avoid analysis paralysis when picking out new tyres. The Count thought you should know,.

No it's worse, because you have to shop for rims too as the 21s are unacceptable with how quick they wear.

Just run 275/60r20 on the 20 inch rims and you won’t need any adjustment for tire size - its almost identical to 275/55r21.
