Abstract Ocean R1S emblems FYI

FYI. I received the emblems and them look great. I ordered them with the yellow accents and did not realize the large ‘Rivian’ on the back also has yellow accents. It is slightly different from the R1T kit which has the large emblem in all black even with the yellow accent kit. Not a mistake, I just did not read the description closely on the R1S and totally my fault.

I installed the emblems just the other day. They look awesome!

I didn’t want the yellow accent on the word emblems so I ordered the all black R1T kit for my R1S. That kit comes with the black and yellow hood emblem. Then I ordered the R1S add on kit in black and yellow. So I got the best of both worlds imo.

The included kit to remove the old emblems helps move things along pretty quickly. The one that kicked my ass was the hood emblem. I couldn’t get it off to save my life. I still have pain in my fingers trying to pry it off.

I got partial shipment and didn’t have much time each evening after work so I installed everything over 3 evenings. The worst part about all this was removing the old 3M tape residue. I used goo gone and cleaned it up using alcohol before installing the new emblems.

Makes sense. It’s been a popular item for AO. I had to wait months to order my set as well.

I should have ordered the way you did, but just wasn’t paying attention to the descriptions. That looks great.

Thank you! I’m happy with how it all came out.

Honesty, I wish there was a black out option offered from factory which would include emblems, side mirrors, wheels, all silver trim/ accents.

I’m now debating if I should complete the rest of the black out mods or keep the silver accents.

Was thinking the same. Some manufacturers offer that as an option. I think with BMW it’s “shadowline” or something on the I4, but those options usually cost in the neighborhood of $500-$1000.

The AO price + labor is great value.
