That’s the right size. Are you sure you installed the brackets in the correct spots? You are only supposed to loosely install the boards (after the brackets installed) so they can slide forward, backward, inside and outside.

It didn’t even let me put the one piece bolt in place for the front. Mine is gen2. Just got it couple of weeks back. Attaching the instruction guide that was sent to me.
Not sure what you are referring to about the bolt- you have the brackets installed?

Yes I had the brackets installed as per the instructions sent and all the brackets are of the same size and same number. I had to remove it as I needed to take the car out. The single piece bolt that I am talking about is the final one we install after aligning the board.

Those las bolts can be tricky but you need to thread by hand loosely so you can adjust. I placed part number 3 on the running board before attempting to mount. Did you watch the video?

yes I have watched it and if I place it before mounting then it either touches my rear passenger door or the front cover which is there behind wheel. I tried to move the board as far out as possible but no help.

Could you please tell me if all 6 brackets you got or installed are of the same length?

I only installed 4 brackets. At the time they told me I didn’t need all 6. Looks like they have changed their directions. But they were all the same length

This is what I meant. The first set of images are from rear passenger

The following are from front passenger

As you see I am as far out I can be and as front I can be(you see some scrapes in front already). It doesn’t seem to fit right like shown in the video.

Got a response from EVBase in the email that there is a problem with the brackets they sent me and are going to replace them all with the newer No. 4 brackets. Once I receive them, I will post an update.

Just wanted to give an update. I received bracket #4 yesterday and they were a perfect fit. I was able to install the boards successfully.

I have the same issue. Installed all 6 #2 brackets and the board is touching the doors. I have tried moving it but no luck. Have messaged Evbase, waiting to hear back. Maybe #4 bracket is the way to go
