Will be interesting to see if anyone actually experiences that.

From my experience on both a loaner and my personal vehicle that is not the case. Only received later OTAs after previous ones installed.

I can go check that right now. I'm a couple of versions behind but have an update I've been putting off. Will go inspect and report back...

That was me. It may be a false alarm, because I've had sensor issues claiming my tailgate was open whenever I've launched the vehicle since taking delivery (the Tailgate Open warning would appear for half a second before disappearing). I'm now thinking that one of my latches just never worked, and it was opening like ¼" on once side when I launch, tripping the sensor.

It has been 10 days since I tried opening my tailgate, so it's possible the other one is just failing, or harder to use in the cold.

I was told that this is not the case with the Rivian. If a new version is pushed and you haven't installed the previous - the older update will be deleted and the new update will take it's place. The packages are full system.

That was my understanding as well. Some people just post misinformation at times.

That would only be assuming that .46 was in process of being pushed to you at this point. It's been so few reporting that it's unlikely.

It didn't used to be like this. The packages might be full system but they still have to have an explicit path for upgrading settings between versions.

Tailgate opens normally using the outside button, app, and center screen. Same for the hood, gear tunnels, and locking the truck. Camp speaker works.

This was a very smooth update. No issues at all.
