So from day one my drivers window pinched the seal in the corner. This causes a bad seal which allows air and noise in. They replaced the window seal/seat during my first visit, but it’s doing it again and it appears the seal isn’t the issue, it’s how the window rises and closes that catches it.

I have an apt already for this on Jam 16th, but I really don’t want to lose my Rivian for another week… I have to say though, the manager here in Minneapolis told me they'd be down to less than 2 weeks for appointments and he was right. It used to be 2 months, so that's progress. I'm hoping this can be adjusted via mobile service.

I have some like that. My window doesn't go all the way in the slot. Because of that there is lots of wind noise. I have to help push it up in order to go back in.

I wonder if there is a way for them to adjust this...I'd sure hope so. Right now I have to manually push from the outside to get it to seat correctly.

This isn't a huge deal as far as drivability, especially in Jan in Minnesota, but it will break down that door seal overtime.

I had that issue on the passenger side. They replaced the seal. Until they did, I gingerly raised the window using a credit card to make sure it aligned. Then I tried not to use the window much.

Did the app show that your window is open? I might be having the same issue but I don't have the wind noise. The app shows that my truck's driver side window is open when it's not. And I can't use the close window button or vent windows since it says the window is open.

Nope, the app doesn't show the window open. It closes, it just crushes the seal and pinches it.

Have you tried using the window calibration procedure? If you had a second person to make sure it stopped in the right spot at the top I wonder if it would repeat it...

I have not, the issue isn't where it's stopping point is, it's that it climbs "out" of the window frame if you will, and as it catches and becomes seated into place that top point grabs the seal and pinches it in.

I haven't tried it either so I'm not even sure what issues that is designed to fix. Sounds like you have something else going on...Just spitballing ?‍♂

I don't have that issue but I did have wind noise coming from the triangle window seal. Recently had a tech replace the triangle window assembly which includes the leading edge window guide that lives inside the door.

Maybe you have an alignment issue with that guide which is pushing the window outward?? It seems like your entire window gets "sucked" back in when it reaches the top seal.

Can you give us a picture of that corner with the window down?

Looks like the rubber has come out of the grove. Just curious, did you try pushing it back in with a tiny screwdriver?

Rubber seal is fine. Everything is in place, the window just comes out too far as it comes up.

I had something similar with the front-passenger window. I scheduled an appointment with my "local" SC (which at the time was 4-6 weeks out) and they fixed it under warranty.

Interesting, my trim looks much tighter and as the window goes up seems like the channel pulls the top off the window inward around the last 3 inches.
