I bought the Premium Rivian Phone Charger from S00nish. Spendy, but it works like a champ, and it uses the existing inductive power wiring. It works. Here’s the most boring 7 second video ever of it ?:

I'll guess Compact Disc instead of cassette tapeI returned from 1998 to present day infotainment capabilities. So glad to be back in the present.
My CD case was pretty extensive. I especially liked the weekly swap in my 6 disk changer.I'll guess Compact Disc instead of cassette tape
The phone connects to both the Rivian and CarPlay. In your Rivian UI, select your phone as the media source. CarPlay controls the phone and link to Rivian UI. Done.Received mine yesterday and installed today - everything was in the one box and I installed it with the wiring hidden across the top of the dash, down the dirver side jamb and into the fuse box area, all hidden out of sight. Even though I have the under console accessory outlet, I wanted something completely out of the way.
Everything looks great so far. Question though - even though I connect my iPhone to the smart screen via carplay, I change my iPhone's audio output to Bluetooth so that it goes to the Rivian instead of the default of output to carplay. Is this the correct use case or should I let the phone connect to carplay and then somehow connect the smartscreen to the Rivian?
Hmm, im not so sure about that - I started up Apple Music and while it showed everything on the screen, no sound was coming out. I went to my phone's control panel and saw that music was going out to Carplay. On a whim, I switched it to Bluetooth and suddenly I could hear it on the Rivian. When yours is connected, what does your audio output show as on the iPhone? The phone connects to both the Rivian and CarPlay. In your Rivian UI, select you phone as the media source. Done.
I’m pretty sure. Maybe @EV Sportline can comment.Hmm, im not so sure about that - I started up Apple Music and while it showed everything on the screen, no sound was coming out. If you're able to, can you play some music from the iphone and click on the music control panel and show what speaker/output it's got active?I’m pretty sure. Maybe @EV Sportline can comment.
Next time I’m in the truck, sure.If you're able to, can you play some music from the iphone and click on the music control panel and show what speaker/output it's got active?
No rush - just curious really. I've got a working configuration but if there's a better way to do it, I want to make sure I'm doing that.Next time I’m in the truck, sure.
The iPhone connects to both the Rivian and CarPlay display via BT (after initial WiFi setup). To control iPhone music from the CarPlay display, the iPhone needs to be selected as the audio source in the Rivian Ui.No rush - just curious really. The Smart Screen itself isn't connected to the Rivian is it? Everything is between iPhone and Smart Screen?
And the Smart Screen isn't configured to connect via Bluetooth to the Rivian? The iPhone connects to both the Rivian and CarPlay display via BT (after initial WiFi setup). To control iPhone music from the CarPlay display, the iPhone needs to be selected as the audio source in the Rivian Ui.

No, the display does not connect to the Rivian via BT.And the Smart Screen isn't configured to connect via Bluetooth to the Rivian?
And it was weekly because it was located in the trunk? My CD case was pretty extensive. I especially liked the weekly swap in my 6 disk changer.
