Hey DuckTruck, based on what you saw and heard, what would you estimate the chances of deliveries starting in September? (even 1 truck) I remember somebody saying the trucks/SUVs had over 600 (6000?) parts in each vehicle so I can’t imagine what supply chain havoc they are dealing with like the bigger, more established guys are. Thanks for your input!
Actually, in another video, I think I heard RJ reference a much higher total number of parts than the 6,000 I had mentioned. I'm assuming he was referencing the count you'd get if you were to break down all of the assembly components.

Regardless, I think they'll have a limited flow rolling out by the end of the September of this year (those last 3 words added to prevent the predictable "of which year?" questions.)

You'll get in to six digit part counts if you indent the BOM far enough.
For instance, add up all the battery cells and you've got more parts than an ICE car

No matter the actual number, it is factually correct to say there are a truckload of parts in each and every one....

Yep, sure looks that way. When closed / extended the tonneau cover is keeping that resting ledge wet for too long. First glance I was hopeful it was just dust, dirt, etc. Which does make me wonder about repeated exposure to sand in that entire mechanism. I can keep the rail areas clean, but down inside the roller?

I guess maybe, hopefully they have designed that portion of the wall to be user removable for upkeep.

Lots of rust on the Metal bar at the edge of the tonneau cover. Hope that gets fixed before delivery.

Looks like wear and tear from a lot of anchoring and un-anchoring attachments.

At least they have a towel.

That's what I thought as well, but then realized he was talking about the exposed rollers on the end of the retracted tonneau cover.

I promised more this weekend, and here we go....

I know there were lots of questions about the front door pockets of the R1T. Here are pictures of how they looked at the event. Those hoping for a nice loopy mesh pocket will be extremely disappointed, if what we saw is any indication.

I remember the back door pockets being similar, but can't find those photos. I do recall one of the vehicles had the perfectly-fitted First-aid "Field Kit" in the right rear door, and I remember it fitting as it does here (as shown in the front door of the configurator).

That's a very long winded way of saying I think it was very similar to the front door pocket.

I really like those, better than a hard sided “bin”. This will hold up better than a net over time, also no mesh holes to get stuff caught on.

also good to hear the “field kit” fits in the rear door. I’ve spec’d it in my config and was hoping it wouldn’t just fit in the front.

I hope they will still have a yellow accent somewhere in the LE version.
