Man, Rivian really owes the RivianStories guys a hat tip. Their long form interviews have been the only real source of intrigue from Rivian for me in a long time. The visit enabled the interviews, but without @skyote @jimcgov3 and Kyle that would have been an entirely ho-hum frustrating event for me. I'm honestly surprised that Rivian didn't realize anything this week, and didn't expect another interview from the guys. Nice job!

I swear if I don’t see RJ and @Rivian driving Kyle, @skyote , and @jimcgov3 around in his bed over Mt. Rivian, I’m cancelling my order. Those three have been their best spokesmen for a long time now.

One point about heat pumps, where I live they are not effective much of the winter. They’re really only good to -25c.

Meh. It's not uncommon in the upper Midwest. But at low temps don't they basically result in the same efficiency as a resistive heater?

Lots of heat pumps have resistive heaters for supplementary heat. an uncle has a cabin he heats with a heat pump that uses the adjacent lake as a heat source-ground there is rock, can’t do ground source. If the resistive heat kicks in, big hydro bill. ?

Not long after that I determined Rivian Blue was IT! Just yesterday I determined Limestone was MY color. I woke up this morning am back to Rivian Blue. This is insane! ?

You and I could be twins.... lol -I've been through almost the exact same rollercoaster..... Forest Green, El Cap, and Rivian Blue...... Although Limestone has not been on my short list..... Right now I'm El Cap or Rivian Blue...... R1S

Normaly yes, they have a resistive heater backup.

Yeah the prairies are cold, but I do think it's still a better than most think. It's not nearly as cold as you make it seem.
