We don't know what's inside V4, could be a more powerful cooler.They are already making longer cords for their V4 stations, so they could easily swap those in for the current V3 station cords.
I'm sure tesla will do the most cost effective solution here.
https://www.powerstream.com/Wire_Size.htmI travel with a J1772 extension cord if I am going somewhere I might be charging overnight and have a high-likelihood of encountering an ICEd charger (like at a hotel). I could see carrying one of these that's rated for DC currents as well for the same reason. But I certainly am not going to pay $1000 for it.
How much current do those 250kw chargers push? 500 amps I presume? Its literally off the charts. Not the same for AC charging.
Not to mention weight of the extension, my guess, would be over 50 lbs, can skip the arm day every time you go to supercharger
I guess my point is it would be too much trouble to use one of those.
