I just got a survey asking me about my R1S and how great it is. But I own an R1T.

Is this just another blunder or sent to me by mistake, anyone else with a T get the same thing?

You must have gotten the survey that I didn't get when we bought our R1S.

Disappointed that I didn't get my feedback to Rivian through the official mechanisms.

I was unimpressed or worse with the purchasing process, but our Delivery Guide did a splendid job.

Congratulations on your R1T!

Serious answer here- I got the survey today asking about my R1T, but I own an R1S. Plus, I just replied to this survey in March, so I deleted the email.

My survey asked a lot of questions about placing an order and making a purchase.. uh.. the "order" process was taken away from pre-price hike holders, and I took delivery last week... I guess the layoffs were in the marketing department?

Most likely business strategy dept.. Marketing take info from strategy to create and execute content to fill a messaging need. They aren't the ones asking survey questions. So what you most likely have here is a case of left hand not knowing what the right hand is doing. And the decision to take ordering away was done by a third and/or fourth, different, arm of the company (sales & finance). And, those who have big picture knowledge, are either not involved or not paying attention to what questions are asked. This sort of thing gets harder and harder to manage and sync up, when companies get bigger and faster paced.

Ok so consensus is another blunder for the archives.


It does feel like the same survey I got a few months ago.

I received an email yesterday from Rivian with a link to a survey but it wasn't specific to an R1T or an R1S. The questions were about service, vehicle quality, the "brand" etc.. so fairly broad. It sounds like maybe a few different surveys might be floating around ? ?‍♂

Most likely a problem with the third party system rivian uses to collect customer feedback.
Very good point and very common practice in the automotive space. External vendor don't have awareness of all that is going on.
