Instead of waiting for the rivian/Tesla adapter, where could I buy one if they are available elsewhere.

My name is Mike, and I have a (car) problem
A2Z has a bit of a backlog at the moment, but it’s still arguable the quickest option. I ordered mine in mid-March and it should be here early next week (in transit atm). Others here have similar delivery timelines.

I had planned to wait for the Rivian charger, but need this asap for a road trip where I know I can’t charge at my destination.

Ordering at this point it appears to be about 3-4 weeks.

Ha. If it’s anything like the tonneau cover probably best to order now.

I went with Lectron, it’s slightly more but a better built adapter imo. Seems to not heat as much also from the testing done by YouTubers.

Also a company that’s been around longer and located in the US. A2Z I’m sure is good as well but they are in Canada and I don’t like their sliding lock.

A Rivian CS advisor just called me (yes, they work on Sunday from home) regarding my upcoming mobile service appointment and I asked about my NACS adapter situation; I have 2 Rivians but only received one opt-in email. He assures me that they are tracking my account that shows 2 Rivians and they go by the earliest vehicle that I had purchased in prioritizing the delivery, so I will receive two. He also mentioned that the first batch of adapters will ship out soon, this month :like:
