I asked about your use of car wash mode simply because I, apparently lacking your superior intellect, took my R1S through a no touch car wash just hours before my reply to your post. And, yup, forgot to use the car wash mode and so my charging port opened.

Happily, this did not result in the onset of seizure disorder. But it was still inattentive or must plain dumb of me to have overlooked this step.

I wasn't pointing fingers at anyone when I posed the question, and if I nonetheless gave offense then I apologize.

No offense taken, it's just my favorite smart ass reply.

I've done the same, frantically hitting the car wash button before the sprayer starts, on different occasions. It was mostly after they moved the car wash button.

Title sucks. I clicked on this thread hoping to read a story about some kind of drug trafficking interdiction/high speed pursuit with an asset seizure/forfeiture involving a Rivian.

Hey Riviot! I had an intermittent “suspension” issue last year and after my first visit to the service center (and the worst rental car ever), it came back as soon as I got home. I called and dropped my R1T off again and they found that the problem was the “Vehicle Dynamics” module. They replaced it and I haven’t had any issues since.
