VIN 15XX, and still waiting on address confirmation email....
VIN 32XX and 34XX and I haven't gotten the address email yet either :(
If you haven't received the address confirmation email you need to contact Rivian. Those were all supposed to be mailed 4 April,

For an agreement that goes back to over a year now for Ford. There is no excuse not to have at least 5k of adapters a month. There is something else happening in the background.

No it's not Musk hate, it's simply when a business fires an entire staff involved that it is easy to deduct some type of fire behind the smoke. Now it could be that decision caused delay or the team sucked and steps being taken will improve the rollout. Only a few know and it ain't us.

Yea, at this point something else is going on.

I realize my adapter would be months away in any case.

But we should be hearing about a couple thousand adapters being shipped by now if everything was going smoothly. There’s ~100k Rivian’s in market at this point and no more than a few hundred adapters (at most).

The idea that the entire NACS adapter rollout has been screwed by Tesla’s firings is the most obvious explanation, but it could be any number of things. I have low confidence that Tesla will behave in good faith or be a reasonable business partner here. Hopefully they pleasantly surprise me.

Just wondering if it's worthwhile to forget about the Rivian adapter and just go with the A2Z. Without any communication from Rivian on this, I'm assuming it'll be at least 3-6 months before I get the adapter from them. VIN 26xx

It probably makes sense if it will make a difference to your summer road trips.

NACS doesn't really make a difference for my road-trip choices, so I'm holding off. I'm still highly annoyed at Tesla for the delay, since my assumption is that it's their fault.

Haven’t gotten anything except the opt in email. Took delivery on 9/2022. Would love an update or a look into the black box that decides shipping order.

This is the decision I made. Ordered an A2Z which arrived today since I have a road trip in Aug and would like to have the option to use Superchargers rather than just rely on EA. I'm Vin 22xxx so at this pace, I don't think there's any chance my free adapter is coming this year .... or even next year.

Yea, at this pace, the free adapter is a myth for most of us. Might as well get a 3rd party if you need to avoid EA in the next year. Just wish they'd get going on testing the other adapters. Rivian and Ford should push for 3rd party verification because it's their customers that are affected by Tesla's mishaps.

Except that makes assumption it was a mishap and not a signal to the end of the Tesla chargers even being accessible to anything except Teslas.

Tesla might not have a choice. Isn't this gov't funding related too?

They might just be stalling as long as possible to find their way out of it or maybe extract more money out from other manufacturers to increase their revenue a bit.

I'll be doing the same. I figured they'd be sending out a couple thousand per month but that's not going to happen
