Now that it's been out for a while, I've had a chance to see, and drive a cybertruck. It's cool and all but it is not even close to being competition for the R1T. Especially the quad.

It is a van with an exoskeleton and incompatible wheels/rims .... What a waste of what could have been an amazing project and platform. Now they have an offering of 2 very fast vans for all the coolest soccer mom's and dad's to "flex with." I hope they continue to improve it....to be honest that is just me being polite. I cancelled my orders

Did I mention I love this truck more than I thought was possible for an inanimate piece of equipment? Haha

I had the same feeling. I was excited when it was announced it would be $39k, but then found out it would be over $80-$120k. So I sold my reservation to another tesla owner and applied that to my R1T.

Curious to know how you sold it as the truck has to be registered in the name of the reservation holder and valid insurance in reservation holder’s name has to be provided before sale.

I sold them the account with an new email. I had no tesla products so it was brand new account when I pre-ordered it back in 2019. They had no issues with being sold the account, as the account was able to changed into their name.

I listed it on eBay, and the final price ended up on $10k for the account.

I admire that Tesla pushes the design landscape to another level, but they should have done the CT in smaller steps and in 5+ years it would have been ready and acceptable.

The R1T is what an EV truck should be. The Silverado and the F150 are just the samo samo on an EV frame (yes, there are other things that changed, but for the most part, it is just the same design). When I drive on the freeway and see and F150, the only way I can tell it is the Lightning is the decal on the side.

Very nice... You ended up on the come up rather than stick with some high tech hot trash
