Buying process question: price changes & lease payments

Hi!

I have a vehicle scheduled for delivery in a couple days, that had some last minute discounts applied for around $2k.

I noticed that everything within the Vehicle summary is accurate but my lease payments did not get adjusted.

Is this something that is recalculated at final signing?

I am in the same boat and have been holding off signing contracts until it is updated but afraid to compromise my wednesday delivery. Hopefully gets sorted tomorrow after the long weekend.

I actually called about this today because I was waiting for my lease amount to update. They told me that it takes 48 hours. I called at the 24 hour mark, so I am supposed to call back if it doesn't change at the 48 hour mark. That's when they'll go in and see what's going on and hopefully manually make the change.

What last minute discount did you get for $2k?

I had a buddy who put in an employee referral on Saturday which replaced my $5k EV Upgrade credit for the promotion they have going on now.

So -$7250 rather than $5000

Update: taking delivery of vehicle tomorrow and still have no idea what my potential lease payment is going to be.

The lease offer was accurate for me (although higher than the estimator) just not detailed. Last minute seems SOP for the full contract, they seem overly busy (layoffs?).

It also took a day or two for the new pricing to show in the lease details. Definitely don't go through the contract step before its correct.

I got my first contract late night before delivery, I had gone to bed early and it expired at midnight pacific time. Next morning they waited until literally 5 min before I had to catch a bus to the SC, couldn't finish all the steps in time. New delivery tomorrow, expecting last minute contract again but this time they are driving the vehicle to my house (because they seemed horrified that i would ride the bus!) so I have more time to actually read it and do the payment.

2 Hr before delivery: Got all actual contract documentation that was in line with what I was expecting.

Last night was a clusterfuck basically and had to check my Rivian account every 30 min for updates because the lease numbers were being regenerated over and over.

This is for the South SF Location which seems to be undermanned. Your experience may be more smooth.

This process does seem overly manual and I get the feeling they're just completely overwhelmed right now.

After transferring my reservation to a different car last week, they kept my employee referral discount but dropped the 2023 Lease Incentive . Still waiting for that to be corrected...

Well an hour before delivery I still didn't have the lease agreement, emailed and got a call back. They just decided to not do it over and didn't tell me. Now I'm rescheduled--again--for tomorrow, and supposedly they are going to redo the lease agreement. Holding my breath...(not!)

I finished all my lease signing stuff yesterday, and not sure if it's a state thing, but also did a virtual notary, then 15 minutes after I got a text message from my delivery specialist saying my schedule was cancelled, due to inspection delay. LOL

I took delivery today! They managed to send the new agreement early enough this morning that I could sign and get a cashier's check 2+ hrs before delivery. Looks, feels, drives great, worth the wait! @ham and everyone else, I hope your deliveries finally completed OK.

I did! Pretty blown away with the actual vehicle so far. Hoping our interactions with Rivian go well moving forward.

I suppose my advice with anybody with this same situation is to just be patient, the math will eventually be correct on the contract. My advice to Rivian, some communication would be nice rather than having some unnecessarily obfuscated process.
