I am 99% sure I found the clicking is related to the mechanical connection to the brake pedal having some play and the retaining clip is also able to rattle. Under Driver+ the braking system is repeatedly engaging/disengaging on flat roads which slightly moves the brake pedal and makes the noise. I thought is was a relay until I reached my hand under the dash and could feel the brake pedal attachment itself has play as well as the noisy retaining clip. It also makes the noise as the car rolls to a stop and the HOLD prepares to engage.

Interesting. I always assumed it was a relay as well or something mechanical closer to the suspension.

If you put your foot behind the brake pedal while this is happening you can feel the brake pedal being forced in and out. I have no idea why this would happen on straight and level cruise control mode. It must be a bug.

Yes, it can be. They release to everyone in batches. I've been in the first batch, and other times I've waited several weeks.

Still waiting..thought it may be related to VIN but I am down in the 7,XXX area and still haven't received it. It's killing me. I just want new visuals.

I am not sure the updates are linked to VIN at all. Mine have been all over the place as far as timing so I think it may truly be random after the employees and influencers get theirs ?‍

Mine took about 40 minutes to install with no issues. Jumped in and drove 30 minutes to take my kid to swim lessons.

First impressions is I like the larger bolder fonts, easier to see speed. The turn signal is more noticeable. The HVAC controls are easier to get to and use. The new look of the cell shading is take it or leave it for me. The improved ride quality seems marginal at best, but need more time with it to tell for sure.

The camera on turn signal is nice, but I already found out I need to get some rain-X on the cameras as it was raining and one left one has a rain drop on the camera and turned most of the picture blurry. The picture below is after I stopped and a big drop came off.

Over all I like the update in my little time with it.

Can someone explain to me what the little cars, busses, bicycles and dogs are there for?

I'm expecting my update the same time I get the charging adapter. No rush. I plan to sit somewhere with shade and sip on a cold bottle of craft lager and read your feedback. Cheers.

Same. Had to update my app settings in Android to disable phone key notification to make that go away.

Thanks for that! I didn't realize that subcategory existed and I just went and found it!

So are you guys just disabling all Lock Screen notifications? I see no option to just disable Connected/Not Connected notification.

In settings go to notifications. Then click on Rivian and then down near bottom is a "catagories" or something like that. The lock/unlock is one of the caragories you can turn off.

Installed this morning...

- like the lanes change screen display
- like the new font
- like the facing screen new graphics
- like the presets of the air blowing directions

- don't care about low regen setting (got used to "standard")

- do not like the new Soft ride on All Purpose, the ride is okay but the steering wheel is too loose

For me, pull down to view notifications then long press the notification and select "turn off notifications". That will bring up a new dialog box and you can uncheck or unselect key connection notifications. I have the same software as you, but an older Pixel phone.

If I have a trip or have friends coming to town that want to see the truck, then I know I won't get the update before then. It always works.

Definitely not related to VIN as I’m #45 and usually don’t receive for a few days. Batches are random.
