Same here..
I bet you see it in the next day or 2. I’m in OC, I usually find my OTAs come in after 5pm, this one was no exception, got prompted last night around 7PM that it was ready to install.

I don’t have it yet but I’m a bit concerned about the suspension changes. In soft mode right now I think the ride is perfect. I definitely do not want it stiffer than it currently is. This car is a commuter for 99% of the drivers out there.
I can't speak to how much improvement there is (hard to tell when you can't drive the old vs. new side by side to compare), but definitely feel like they're all as good or better so wouldn't be too concerned about any regression in the drive modes on this OTA.

I installed the update last night and I’m driving for the first time today and noticed the touch screen is out of alignment. With the map up if I touch the radio button it acts like I’m touching the middle of the map and a little menu comes up asking if I want to navigate there. Does anyone know if there is a touchscreen calibration setting? Or maybe I need to try a soft reset.

Mine took about 40 minutes to install with no issues. Jumped in and drove 30 minutes to take my kid to swim lessons.

First impressions is I like the larger bolder fonts, easier to see speed. The turn signal is more noticeable. The HVAC controls are easier to get to and use. The new look of the cell shading is take it or leave it for me. The improved ride quality seems marginal at best, but need more time with it to tell for sure.

The camera on turn signal is nice, but I already found out I need to get some rain-X on the cameras as it was raining and one left one has a rain drop on the camera and turned most of the picture blurry. The picture below is after I stopped and a big drop came off.

Over all I like the update in my little time with it.

Exactly feedback I’d provide. The updated fonts on speed and the motor usage vs regen meter is much improved.

Wonder why they chose the camera in the wheel trim vs the camera in the side mirror. Are all cameras the same resolution?

also I didn’t lose any settings on ride height or regen after update. I know some trucks lost an option.

Disregard, a soft reboot appears to have resolved this issue.

Maybe a coincidence but my A/C performance after the update is noticeably poorer. Never had an issue before but now I’m really having crank the fan up/temp down to get some decent cool air. Anyone else notice this or am I crazy.

I chatted with rivian regarding the update and they stated if I don’t get it by Tuesday, to reach back out to them. So it seems like at least everyone should get it by Tuesday. I haven’t gotten mine either and was really hoping I would get it by now but at least there’s a good expected time frame.

The R1S (20" AT) suspension improvements are real. Installed last night and it's noticeably better. The main difference to me is that it feels less "jittery".
I ended up switching to All Purpose-Firm and that may be my preferred setting now. I prefer a stiffer suspension but was mostly riding in moderate because it was less jittery, but now that is resolved in all settings it seems, so Firm feels fantastic.
this is in Denver where there are potholes and crappy roads everywhere, and Firm has no issue with it IMO.

Installed last night on my R1S witn 22" Darks. Noticeable improvement in overall ride quality. Very smooth. The throttle travel seems to make more sense. No crazy bucking and going over bumps is pretty sweet. Like a new ride. I have it on standard regen and moderate. I prefer it a bit firmer and high regen. Best review will come when my wife rides in it as she constantly complained of nausea before. I'm not gonna say anything and see if she notices

I spent 30 miles driving my 2024 R1S with the updates applied last night. Here are my observations:

1. I like how the suspension is a bit more refined over bumps, ruts, and uneven roads. The R1S doesn't pongo as it did on one section, it absorbs the bumps with more compliance in moderate all purpose mode, and its flatter/more composed overall.
2. The blind spot cameras are awesome. Have to get used to looking down to the screen though
3. HVAC controls are nicely laid out and I like the new quicks select on the home screen to heated seats, heated steering wheel and cooling seats.
4. New fonts and turn signal graphics were needed.
5. Low regen mode in All purpose mode is perfect. The car coasts a bit more and its less jerky

Need to do these:
1. Allow the R1S/R1T to open community/private gates
2. Allow text messages to come on the screen with fast prompts or voice responses
Do you typically drive in "soft" or "moderate" setting?

with the change they have floor and windshield vents on, if you turn them off the dash vents feel the same.

Yeah I noticed that but even with them closed it's noticeably weaker. Just be a coincidence with the timing if nobody else if experiencing that.

Came from an LX470 which drove more like a car than a truck. Had the R1S gen 1 8 months. Felt more like a truck/boat than a car. As of this update it feels like my Lx470 is back. Very happy with this new suspension upgrade. I ride all purpose. Soft, high regen.
Sad to hear this. Always loved going over potholes in my R1S, feeling the bump shake the frame as the passengers lurch, and thinking … I drive a TRUCK.
