~$2k for 60 mo financing with $0 down! In my opinion, the R1S is a far better vehicle spec-wise and costs less!

glad I went with the R1S. the EX90 was one of the other options I was looking at but obviously it wasn't available. Then you hear about the issues volvo is having with its development, and also the price is way more than I paid for my R1.

What happened to the promise of "well-equipped at under $80k"?
Even the barebone entry model without options is over $81k.
Not to mention the 3% daily range loss, no thanks, and I'll keep my gen 1 R1S instead.

Canceling and dealership said it'd take over 10 business days.
Had to call them and reply to an email to initiate.
Such an ancient process compared to Tesla in which I canceled mine online and got the refund in a few days.

This has been such a disappointing development for Volvo. I was initially very excited about the EX90 because I’ve been a Volvo fan for years but it’s just underwhelming for the price. I had the chance to see it in person a couple of months ago and I left feeling very lukewarm, not excited.

The R1S is a far better value.

I cancelled my reservation. As an XC90 plug in hybrid owner, I was hoping this could replace it, but it isn’t ready and is overpriced to boot. It really is sad. There was a lot of excitement over it and they totally botched it from start to finish (which is odd given Polestar overlaps and seems to be able to produce EVs).

I'm curious what you selected that drove the price that high. I got the email to configure yesterday but since it requires you to register for a Volvo account and I have zero intent of actually ordering, I won't be accessing it.

I was an early reservation holder for the EX90, but I canceled it after seeing YouTube reviews of a real EX90. Sure, it is an EV, but where is the extra storage because of an EV? The frunk on EX90 is a joke, and the trunk is no different from a minivan. No matter how much it is priced at, it's never a competitor to R1S. Maybe buyers considering Kia EV9 will look at the EX90.

i just got my Volvo configuration email and promptly cancelled my order. Delays in delivery and Missing software such as driver assistance when delivered? Sorry Volvo, I had high hopes but Rivian all day ever day

Best of luck with your Volvo purchase. We had the XC40 Recharge.....sorry to say, it was the worst car-owning experience....and that is saying a lot considering I have had over a dozen cars in the last 40 years.

Within 2 months it was in the shop to have the same things repaired (tCAM).

This was our first 100% EV and we didn't know any better. It was stated at 285 mile range.....I was lucky to get 200 miles. I usually had to stop on the way to work (140 miles) to charge up.

We sold it back to the dealer within 10 months of ownership and right before we got our R1T.

Same exact situation here. Each successive Volvo we've owned has been a little bit worse than the one that preceded it. Given the problems the EX90 has had even before it hits the road it made no sense to keep the reservation.

I canceled my EX90 and EX30 reservations after seeing them in person. Very underwhelming.
