Rivian R1T first crash ?

R1T has had its first crash. Per @Laurent it looks like the Rivian was going south on Myford Rd in Irvine and missed the turn.

Youch! That doesn't look pretty! I hope the casual appearance of the officer and everyone else standing there means that nobody was hurt.

Now that I see the rest of the pics, it looks like only the R1T and two parked cars involved. Hopefully, both parked cars were empty

That looks like some seriously bad driving... but it looks like it fared well, at least better than the Ford did.

Actually compared to the Edge it looks like the R1T took the hit well.

Hope it is an explainable driver error. Would hate to see this cause delays for test drives and deliveries after so much progress this month so they can do an RCA.....

? WOW!!! Want to know, where, when, who and HOW!?!?! Sure hope it wasn't a mechanical defect of some kind. ?

You can see that it went over the grass, through the bush then smoked the explorer that was occupying the spot (the front hood of the white explorer is mangled) maybe they were racing for the spot and rivian went for the road less traveled with its magic carpet like suspension.. Bet the driver didn't feel a thing!
Ps Jealous of the cop that gets to check it out, wish a rivian would hit my vehicle ?
