When is the next software update? Any info on this?

Still waiting on a few things that has been said s00n for a while....
hoping for the following in the next update:

1) Siriusxm
2) Connect+ (abiity to cast)
3) some relief around lack of phone text integration?
4) better nav (traffic, and other info displayed on maps like speed traps etc. from google)

The vehicle has been out for a long time now, and the a/c is a pretty big deal in the South, Rivian!

What would happen if we don’t install it? Would we then be able to still use the existing connected services without charge?

I think it'll be around the 2nd week of August. It should have Connect+ go live. I'm also hoping for Dolby Atmos to be released too.. but let's wait and see.

No one knows yet. But there is supposedly a grace period of a few months to sign up for it.

the a/c does not remember the last used settings when you exit the vehicle. For example, if you have all three vents on, then exit the vehicle and come back, it won’t remember those vents were on. You have to manually turn them back on

Yes…mine can’t seem to remember whether only front or front and back vents were on and seems 50/50 on outside air vs recirc. That said, the vents that do come on, are now pointing in the same direction they were set to ?

Initial reports said Meridian will get Dolby. But base G2 systems will not.
