This is exactly what I needed ASAP as a storage solution that is lockable for my Sig Sauer P938. The P in P938 stands for Pocket rocket.

I’ll try a 3” revolver like Colt Python or a 3” Kimber Ultra Carry later and report back on how they fit.

The Sig Sauer compact fits perfect with one divider and the mat keeps it in place. I’ll probably have a friend make a 3D printed holder for the pistol that would keep it tight / secure to reduce any Noise / Vibrations.

Hopefully Rivian will update the software and allow a PIN code setting before you can unlock the dock.

My long term goal is a console vault with fingerprint for a more secure storage solution.

I have been asking Rivian (via email) to enable PIN to Start like Tesla has had for quite a long time now. That one feature would keep the dock locked as well.

I received mine yesterday and have a few critiques.

1. Verified that you have to unlock from the center screen, which took me 5 minutes to find. That tells you how many times I've used the camp speaker.
2. Why was the hand molded in upside down from the factory speaker? Most people will be seated when you pull the drawer out, so the moulded in pull seems to be in an unnatural position. The cord supplied kinda seems like an afterthought.
3. Already addressed that it is more likely a software issue, but having to go the lock screen every time to unlock kinda makes useless for gun storage while driving. I would have to pre-pull the drawer out a little, then push it back in of I intended to leave it in the vehicle.
4. Maybe redesign the locking bar to be a separate piece that is made out of metal. The current molded plastic lock bar seems too weak and would probably keep me from storing anything of value in the drawer. I guess most people do not know that the speaker/ drawer exist in the center console, so most of the security comes from being hidden.

Otherwise, at this price point, it is a great product, just not a complete security option for some.

I'm afraid not.

While you can't fully extend it with the console tray, it opens more than enough. I'm happy with how far it pulls out.

Also, interesting choice not filling in the void in the front lip. As you can see the drawer ate the included pull cord and a folded $100 bill. Not a big deal for what I have planned, but it won't be a good idea using it for coins or other small items

Overall happy with the drawer!

Ordered mine (as well as the center console tray combo pack) the other day. Console trays arrived yesterday, and I installed w/ no issues (although I was curious why the lower tray didn't utilize the snap-in holes the original tray uses?). Good organization for my Ez-Pass transponder, glasses, badges (badges? we don't need no stinkin' badges!), and other items.

Haven't used the lower cup holders yet, but we're planning on driving up to NY for Labor Day weekend, and she has a few wider mugs/bottles, so should be a good test.

Drawer was supposed to arrive yesterday as well, but was delayed until today (Amazon says delivery by 8pm).
