Yeah, I’ll give it a try today. The loaner is a four seat sedan, which doesn’t exactly replace the R1S.If you insist they may release it...but they might want you to sign something that says you understand the vehicle is not safe to drive. A complete guess on my part. I believe this part is a federally required safety item though so it's possible they may refuse on those grounds.
Sucks not to have the car but hopefully they have you something decent as a loaner. Maybe just ride that out until the part gets in?
