What fast chargers are plug and charge?

Rivian, Tesla, EVGo has auto charge which is similar but needs setup.

I thought chargepoint did plug and charge.. if not, why does rivian need a chargepoint account linked? I haven't charged at a chargepoint DCFC yet so can't confirm or deny.

How is Tesla supercharger plug and charge?
What do I need to do?
I always use the Tesla app, but must first set it up each time, e.g., select Charge my other EV, tell it which dispenser I will use and off it goes.
My Rivian account has my cc info and it is true plug and charge.

If you don’t have the supercharger membership just plug it in. It’s that easy.

Thanks. Hmm, I do not have the Tesla membership, indeed. My Teslas are plug and charge, of course.
Are you saying that this is all I need to do, forget all the setting up through the app?
Charging starts for me until set up is completed.
Will have to look into this!

Just make sure you have a payment method set on your Rivian app.

Just plug into a compatible Tesla Supercharger and it should start your session in 5 - 10 seconds.

Edit: I was also able to setup Autocharge+ on EVgo app. It works at the GM Ultium / Pilot stations as well.

Yes, it is strange, we had an OTA maybe a year ago to setup plug and charge with EVgo, some of us set it up back then but a few months later people were unable to set it up and have been told it is no longer supported.

Odd thing is appears whoever initially set it up it is still working for. I do not use it often as seems to be the most expensive so only use it in a pinch but when I used it last a few weeks ago plug and charge was still working.

You must initiate charging at Tesla via the Tesla app (unless you are charging a Tesla)…

Nope. I never do that.

EVgo has a thing called Autocharge.

Right, though I think it's limited to some chargers, and it has never worked for me.
