Tesla adapter first time question

I am in Page AZ trying to charge at Tesla super charger for first time us and the system is stuck in Startting?!? Any help?

I don't think the Page, AZ SC is available to non-Teslas.

Page is not NACS compatible, closest ones around there are Kayenta, AZ, St George, UT or Hamilton Fort.

Edit, there is a 62kW ChargePoint 74 miles away from page in Kanab, UT

Hopefully you have plenty of charge to get to a different charger.

I'm assuming you just saw a supercharger and stopped in to charge without checking if it was compatible? Or did you enable "Incompatible" in navigation for some reason?

Came from kebab last night where I told the wife, no problem, we don’t need to charge here during dinner because page has a Tesla super……. Igh

confirmed it’s not compatible and I wasn’t aware of the INCOMPATIBLE setting or that it’s even a thing.

both Kenyatta and kebab are out of our range just. We are slow charging at the Hyatt but it will toast our travel plans for today.

tough lesson in prep. Kids are about to kill each other.

I am at 21 kW per hour which is my home charger. Sslllooooowwwwe

For the life of me, I can not understand why the Rivian Nav shows INCOMPATIBLE chargers?

Really sorry to read the above. I learned a similar planning lesson in 2016 when I was driving a model S.

In case you haven't found it yet, you can select the filter "Hide incompatible chargers" (or wording to that effect) on the screen. It will then only show you superchargers you can use.
Likewise, on PlugShare, you can select the filter "Hide Tesla-only chargers"
Good luck...I hope you're able to find a Plan B in Page.

To be clear, having a NACS port wouldn't fix this. The V2 superchargers will never work for non-Tesla vehicles. It's not a NACS issue it's a vehicle communication issue.

Late night update, Made it to Falgstaff for charging, but how I got there has a few more failures. Its a longer story I will fill in for anyone that might make this drive. But, Page and area is a bit of a black hole for charging.

within 5 miles of the Flagstaff RAN. The wall outlet at the gas station could only give me 1 m/hr. and that didn't look like it was really working. Lots of places along the way didn't work, or locked, and calculations were off, because it was mostly all uphill.

Best 100 bucks I ever spent.

The tow ride of shame.

sorry about your tow, it's a real confusing mess the first time you try to use a supercharger and find out it's not compatible. Rely on your rivian app navigation next time as best you can!
