Gear Shop Delivered Wrong Item

this thread is the best thread I've seen in weeks, it's hilarious. I just ordered 10 center console organizers, hoping I can cash in on all these NACS adaptors soon.

Interesting. My center console is set for delivery today. Weighing in at 1.6lbs, we shall see what I actually get.

When I ordered the center console, it initially came with a delivered email before it even shipped (only the label was created). Took a few days before it was actually shipped and a few more in transit.

So, I ordered on the 29th of November, got the delivered email on the 5th of December, product actually shipped on the 8th of December and scheduled for delivery today, the 13th.

I ordered a console organizer and hand warmer on Nov 29 and finally got shipping notification yesterday. It showed 2.3LB total weight. It arrived today and had the correct parts. No NACS for me. So I suspect they've corrected the glitch ... for now.

+1 for the NACS / console organizer swicharoo. Ordered organizer Nov 28, shipped dec 4. Received adapter Dec 9. Chat support said oops and they’d email when they ship the organizer. Not holding my breath for that.

I mean they’ve been delivering trucks for 3 years now. This would not happen with any of the many small 3rd party shops selling Rivian accessories. Hell my elderly father is better at selling stuff on facebook marketplace. Pull it together Rivian!

I'd love to hear if/when anyone gets resolution on this. I've heard nothing. Don't know if we are waiting on a restock of the center console organizers or what.

When I talked to them, I was told that they would send another Console Organizer out, and a return label for the adaptor...that was 12/6.
My order history on the Rivian website still says delivered with no notes or updates. No email either.

Rivian is my homie, but my place is not their storage area while they get their act together. NACS adaptor for sale or donation here sOOn.

I was told by numerous reps that they will reach out to the team and put in a request. I’ve followed up a few times but haven’t had any progress. I also requested a refund until they get more back in stock or figured out but they said they needed to wait until the item that never arrived was mysteriously delivered to process. Doesn’t make sense. I like my Rivian, like my service experiences but the sales team and customer service are absolutely terrible.

Be interesting if they actually take them back as it states they are a non-returnable item. I wonder if that is what is making this take so long. They are trying to see if they can actually take the adapters back.

I was referring to shipping the center console and getting folks what they ordered, the adapters are likely just a loss
