Going on 2 years and 30k miles, still the best vehicle I have ever had the privilege of owning. Rented a Jeep 4xe this past week - sorry to all you Jeep owners, but trash compared to the R1T. Couldn't wait to get back home to my truck.

Over the past 2 years have also rented/loaned the F-150 Lightning, Porsche Macan, Lexus RZ 450e, Cybertruck, Raptor, Model X, Tundra. Yes, they all fit different use cases but the R1T is still the best overall vehicle. CT was the closest and the tech is great but the interior is junk.

I love my my G1 Quad-LRG! Easily best all around vehicle I have ever owned and I still enjoy each drive.

But..I also have a modified Rubicon Jeep JL...and for trail use...it can't be beat. Also has alot of very fun capabilities like roof removal and door removal that the Rivian can't do. It definitely is more purpose built and can't come close to the Rivian for interstate driving, performance driving, etc...but....far from trash.

Concur. It's an amazing truck!
I’ll do an attaboy and say not just best vehicle, best purchase.
Because we’re vehicle neglectors and abusers, ( two MBZ engines blown up)we’ve been hybrid since ‘01, plug in ‘11, and BEV since ‘17.11 total. The ‘22 T is the most used and abused our SC has seen. Outside of a twice separated door pocket, we have had no irritations.
A dozen long road trips and daily business grinding and grocery getting.

glad to hear this! I see a lot of folks with such limited mileage on their trucks that it sometimes makes me nervous about how much I’ll use mine relative to that. ~5000 miles already on my Gen2 exactly 3 months from delivery.

I had 40k trouble free miles in my first gen quad. It was such a good experience I traded it in for a Trimax.

2 years, almost 25k miles. Have a list of minor things (to me) that need to be addressed, like the frunk doesn’t auto-close anymore, but overall an amazing vehicle and I couldn’t be happier with it. Currently on a road trip to OBX and the truck just soaks up the miles. The only things I would consider replacing it with are the Scout or a newer R1T at this point.

Yup. Totally agree. And nothing has been more jarring than having to drive/use another vehicle (esp ICE).

So true. I get the itch to try something new every now and again, yet nothing even touches the Rivian for under $100k. I strongly considered a new Tundra 1794 last week, drove it, and discovered that the Rivian has ruined any other truck for me. Maybe the Silverado EV would be a contender, but I’m not dropping over $100k for one.

I agree. I'm only 2 weeks in with R1T, but having owned many vehicles, primarily trucks, including a recent Jeep, there is no comparison to Rivian, and I'm almost 73! I have owned Fords, Dodges, Jeeps, and Chevys, but none compare.
