Charge Port door - Mobile App - TeslaTap Mini

I have the TeslaTap Mini Adapter. I always turned on the vehicle to remove the adapter. Now that we have the option to open and close the charge port door via the mobile app, what is the process to remove the adapter? Do I need to turn on the vehicle?

I'm thinking vehicle has to be awake to use this feature. The thing I'm noticing is that I have to unlock all the doors occasionally just to get the port to unlock to remove the charger. Somewhat annoying when its just the driver door I need opened.

You set it to just open the drivers side door. The issue is that you cannot unlatch a connected EVSE without unlocking the vehicle. Hopefully they will make that an option at some point.
