Insta-buy for me.

I too suffer from my two legs being approximately the same length.

Nice work!

I'm 5'11" and that was the first accessory I put in my Jeep after driving it for a few days. IMO, the dead pedal should be the same "height" or, distance from the driver seat as the accelerator pedal for maximum driving comfort.

I've never noticed this at all, so I guess it doesn't bother me. But I swear, if now I start thinking about it because of this thread, I will find you and give you the most atomic of all wedgies of all time.

Hah! I have a 3D printed version I was working on for a while (never quite finished) ... very similar, but this one looks a bit thicker than mine. I couldn't figure out a good way to connect it to the car. I guess double-sided tape works, but I was searching for a more mechanical connection. I appreciate the attention to this point in your install video, as having it disconnect while driving would be pretty bad.

My thinking process exactly. The issue with the mechanical approach was that I found it very difficult to put it there unless I take away the carpet, which is a lot of hassle. The VHB has been holding pretty sell for me but it's sensitive to proper positioning hence my advise to be careful with this one. If installed properly though it holds pretty well, this stuff (VHB) is extremely strong.

I don't think I have ever used the dead pedal in any vehicle....ever.....
Left foot just on the floor? I often times do that too, but not always...

It's definitely a personal preference thing. I generally don't use them either, but I think that's more because they're never in a good position. When I was testing my 3d printed version I found I used it more often and it made things significantly more comfortable. But I have to admit I do tend to pull my foot up closer to me and lean my knee on the door ... unless I'm in our ILX with a manual transmission... one of the few ICE cars I don't mind driving after the Rivian. :)

My name is Mike, and I have a (car) problem
Yup, foot on the floor, in all cars I have owned. The exception being stick shift.
You need to up your game, put your left leg behind your neck like a yoga master.
