Some may disagree but I don't think you explained the issues with their website properly as you still think you ordered the thing you wanted not what they sent. Hopefully evbase will read this thread, see the screenshots many of us have highlighted to show the small grey text and our suggestions for them to improve clarity on the options.

I'm moving back to the Cybertruck laugh of the day thread, it has more enjoyable memes.

I'm sorry I assumed you'd be able to follow easy instructions online, this thread should have prepared me better. If anyone else can convince you or explain my instructions I'll happily honor my commitment once you post and pick a charity but for now I'm letting this go after 9 pages of nonsense.

That website language/UI is terrible here. They should comp you the upgrade just for pointing out the flaw in it. The flavor text definitely needs to match what you're getting when you click buy.

Guys, before you spend your hard earned money on cheap running boards, consider feedback on the vendor. EV Base has had a few sketchy things come up in the past with regard to their products (you can find posts here, on Reddit, and elsewhere) and how they've dealt with customers. The Branden Flasch situation was the one that pushed me away from these guys after I was originally considering their first running board product. Of everyone making running boards for the Rivian, these guys are the last ones I would consider unless the goal is to spend absolutely the least amount possible. If that's the case, then go for it. As for me, I'd rather have a reputable vendor that stands by their product and service even if it costs a bit more.
