What did you replace your 20" OEM Pirelli tires with and why?

I'm on the stock 20" OEM Pirelli 275/65R20 tires. Have 33k miles and about 6/32 treadwear left. Not sure what tire to get next but likely will replace the Pirelli's with something else.

Curious to know what other tires folks went with and why.

I've seen a few threads about this but I always get a bit turned around when people respond with different sized tires. This one most recently is a good read. Hard to believe the Nitto Recon Grapplers are a 25% efficiency gain, though. I'm in the same boat and I like more rubber so I'd like to stay with 34". I want AT's with chunky tread but the Pirellis are not an option due to how unbelievably loud they are now with 22k miles.

We replaced our Pirelli Scorpion ATs at ~15k miles even though they have a ton of tread left because the are
SO LOUD

Went with 275/65R-20 Toyo Open Country A/T III EV SL. Nice ride, much quieter.

We are a year into a 3 year/45k miles lease. My boy math was that I was likely going to have to buy a replacement set before 45k miles, so why not enjoy the peace and quiet now and then throw the Pirelli's back on if I need to if/when we turn the car in.

I purchased the Bridgestone Revo 3s
I have 20,343 miles on them with a 2.24 mi/kWh shown on the trip meter
Run them at 56 psi hot
very quiet, handle well (for my use case) and tread wear is good

Went back to all-seasons because I just don't do enough off-roading to justify the downsides of a 7k lb truck on ATs - efficiency for a while, then add the noise.

That was actually on the 21s, before I switched to the 20s. So not only am I a hypocrite, I am clearly insane.

Went to the Rivian spec Goodyear Territory AT's in 275/60/20 and changed the tire size in the infotainment. Efficiency went way up and sound went WAY WAY WAY WAY WAY down. They aren't as AT as AT tires go but I was going more for cool looks than actual off road functionality.

did you buy from Rivian or get a better deal at a tire shop?

My lifetime average with the OE tires was about 2.02mpk over 3 winters and 25k miles, I don't remember what it is now but I just put the tires on in April and obviously haven't gone through any winters but I now get ~2.3-2.4mpk on my daily commutes.

I bought and installed the tires through Discount Tire.

Nitto Ridge Grappler tires on my LR4 are insanly quiet, have 200% better treadwear than my K02, perform significantly better offroad, and I saw a 2 mpg increase.

in short. I 100% believe that claim.
