It would be interesting to look into the delivery dates by configuration, i.e. color, wheel choice, etc.

I think its our Res date. I was the same week as you, but R1S. Same window. They mustve gotten a ton of activity mid/late 2020. I bet theres a bimodal distribution.

Agreed! The distribution is extremely bimodal. Perhaps some front-load due to selection bias amongst this group?

By Sept 2023 there will be several options from multiple builders that might be better and cost less.

None of which are likely to be actually available if not already a preorder holder, barring a dramatic (and quick) ease of the current supply issues.

Just to share more info: Spoke with CS and was informed only LE order holders are being notified, the rest of us should expect updates by year end. Additionally as of now only local folks can pick up in Normal. They hope that will change but for now that is the way it is.

I got my email today like everyone else. I'm a 12/3/18 R1S LE in Atlanta that was quoted a may-June delivery. Is that due to location? Configuration? For those with earlier deliveries for R1S, did you order that much earlier than me? Different location or configuration? I know some have speculated that the off-road option has something to do with it. I didn't opt for that but if it got me my R1S in March instead of June, maybe I would. You know? Anyone with any thoughts yet?

I'm a Nov 29, 2018 R1S LE pre-order in the Chicago area who received a March-April 2022 delivery estimate. Current configuration is R1S LE / Launch Green / Ocean Coast / 22” Sport Bright Wheels (w/Compact Spare, Cargo Crossbars, Wall Charger, and All-Weather Floor Mats). No Off-Road Upgrade currently, although I'm vacillating on that.
