Please let us know what you see. I am very interested. It could be the service line is not able to support 450 kW, even though the cabinets can. They could be software limited to 300 kW.I'm curious if these are limited to 300kw (due to the cable or something) or will really flex for high voltage cars. Will the Gravity be able to hit ~400kw and will the Silverado EV Max be able to hit over 360kw?
I'll find out on the latter in August...
What lower powered units does Rivian have? I thought all the 1.5 units had the same specs? Please let us know what you see. I am very interested. It could be the service line is not able to support 450 kW, even though the cabinets can. They could be software limited to 300 kW.
I thought they would be lower power chargers because of the limited power lines feeding that part of the island. I assumed between the Tesla SC and the RAN chargers in the same parking lot, the power company would require Rivian to install lower power units. If only I had a Gravity to test it.
Good question. The Tesla SC units in the same parking lot are not V4, and they were recently installed. I just assumed the reason was due to power company limitations. I have no basis for that assumption, except that I was surprised they didn't put V4 chargers there. What lower powered units does Rivian have? I thought all the 1.5 units had the same specs?
