Removing airbag stickers from sun visors?

Hi Fellow Travelers,
I searched the forum and surprisingly couldn’t find anybody asking this… Has anybody successfully removed the unsightly airbag stickers on the sun visors? With my previous car i could actually order new OEM visors without the stickers which is what I had to do in the end since my removal processes failed! Would like to avoid that if possible, but if somebody has done that successfully from Rivian (purchase replacements without stickers) that would also be good to know.
My car is not leased - just saying since I guess there might be an issue re removals given they are technically safety-related…?

Heat gun + rubbing alcohol. I recall it taking about an hour.

The fabric texture where the sticker used to be is slightly different than the rest but it is a lot better than a big ugly sticker.

Not sure why they didn't show up in your search, but there are a couple threads about this already:

• This one is more recent but doesn't have much useful info
• This older thread - post 8 links to what someone did in their corvette that looks pretty successful. I'm going to try that approach, just haven't gotten to it yet.

Thank you very much; very useful threads because I had the same questions about the color of the sticker options. I will go for the matte black.
FWIW, I searched for “sun visor“ and “airbag” variants.

To be fair if you didn’t notice them until now they aren’t really serving a safety purpose. If OP wants to remove his I don’t see why that’s an issue.
