My R1T (G1) had a nonfunctional (disabled) PTC at delivery. After waiting for over a year, they installed the "updated" PTC (V1.5?) parts, which worked for about 8 months. It's been 7 or 8 months, now, since it failed. The last communication from the SC is that parts are not available, and they did not know whether parts would ever be available. I don't know when or if Rivian will install the new (V2) PTC, but I have only had a working PTC for about 8 out 29 or 30 months. I don't find that acceptable, but apparently Rivian does. If they ever do replace it with the new version, there will be little or no time left under the warranty, so they won't have to worry about standing behind the new version.Just for clarity, did you get a retrofit PTC? If so, is it the wide or narrow slat version?
