I didn't see channels specifically for roll-up, just stacked. So I think the roll-up package includes channels but could be wrong. Can someone with roll-up take a pic of their channels?

Like many, the PTC was pulled from my order for my 2024 Gen 1 R1T before delivery, and that was a huge disappointment for me based on my use cases. Luckily (?!?) just over a year after delivery my truck was rear-ended while stopped in traffic and totaled (though I was able to drive away after… not so much the Silverado that hit me). So, again, luckily (thank you $38 ‘New Car Replacement Coverage’) Nationwide wrote me a 6 figure check for my new 2025 G2 R1T, this time WITH PTC V2. Smooth and works like a charm (used almost daily) - very pleased. Re: ‘sturdy’, I’m 150 lbs and have stood on it multiple times to cut tree branches. YMMV.

Had to pick an inventory car to get the lease deal but i insisted I wanted the tonneau v2 that was on the site. Got an appointment a couple months ago and paid out of pocket and found out after having the v1.5 jam one day that it was definitely not the v2 that was on the site when I placed an order.

Service was super understanding about it and told me when they come in during sept they would schedule me in. They proactively called me and they updated me today saying it could be done as soon as tomorrow. I will keep this thread updated and root for everyone elses retrofit.

Pre-price-hike w/$7.5K tax rebate. But it was a long wait, since I had them put my order on hold for almost a year waiting for a fix to the V1 PTC issues… then finally decided life was too short to wait (and my pre-price-hike deal and tax rebate deal was running out if I didn’t move forward). So I’m lifetime ahead with Nationwide, but now they squeeze me even harder every 6 months… no matter whose fault the wreck was.

Got a G2, Max PDM (same as I had before), but not a Tri motor.
The Nationwide 'New Car Replacement' coverage cost me $38 annually, and that bought me a $101K new R1T with virtually zero hassle from Nationwide. That coverage covers the total cost of replacement of a NEW current same model with same features if your vehicle is totaled within the first 3 years of ownership. THAT is THE specific reason I went with Nationwide, because I was hearing all the horror stories about Rivians being totaled out after collisions with what for an ICE vehicle would be typically repairable damage. They did not cover my (aftermarket) PPF, window tinting, or any of my other aftermarket add-ons. Most of them I removed from the vehicle and was able to install in my new R1T. Not the Box Gods frunk water tank (doesn't fit G2s - so I sold it). Not the Interrobang Manual Tonneau cover (still have it - great product - need to sell, since I got the V2 PTC I wanted on the new truck). Like I said... I am now lifetime ahead with Nationwide. and got a one year newer and one generation newer truck... just from sitting stopped at a traffic light minding my own business... AND having 'just in case' insurance (first time I had ever purchased that coverage). Pure luck.

It looks like the new V2 Roll up tonneaus are going on now.
My truck is up in Sheperdsville service center getting it installed (replacing the 2nd failed pez dispenser tonneau). The service manager told me this will be the first roll up retro fit they are doing. All warranty replacements will now be the roll up.

Hopefully, my truck will be wrapped up tomorrow. They are also replacing the HVAC for the floor leak.

I'm in a 2024 (Gen1) R1T.

SC called this AM to push my September 19th appointment out. Parts for my V2 still not in. I understand they changed suppliers which caused the delay? Said their distribution center would get them this week and then the SC likely next week. Now tentatively scheduled for September 29th.

That went nowhere.

Service centers stance is they will not put a tonneau cover on a vehicle that doesn't already have one, or was part of the order.

I touched on others having had them installed same situation, they said they couldn't comment on that, but at this time they weren't doing retrofits
