Great... but to go along with this, how about making a reasonably priced battery and/or specifications available, so we can buy through the Rivian store or "approved" third parties for DIY? Yes, I am aware of Ohmmu. from what I have read/heard, Rivian and others have indirectly or directly said a Lithium battery is not acceptable replacement, and due to the deep cycling potential, a standard motorcycle battery of similar size and AH specs is not recommended.

This "right to repair" related issue for simple things is my biggest irritation with Rivian.

None of this is true. They are working through bugs that need to be resolved before it goes live.

In a recent social media post Wassym said they are working on the software to allow owners to recent the system after at home battery swaps so I think it will come soooooooonnnnn.

I'm hopeful they're also considering HV battery swaps here.

He also implied soooooooooooooon about text messaging - over a year ago. Soon in Rivian speak means "sometime between now and the end of eternity".

Was hoping to see the AP mode with AWD permanently engaged make an appearance. Traveling in the mountains can be more irritating that it should be with the rear motor engaging and disengaging.

It’s coming. The Halloween modes are not listed in the updates because they essentially are hiding in your system and scheduled to activate on a specific date before Halloween. It was probably included in the previous update or this one.

This is true, but we had Halloween mode on the 18th last year. Our next full moon isn't until 11/5.
