I got an on-line request to re-validate my identity when I was about to remote start the heat on my truck. Now I am completely locked out of my R1T. I entered my credentials as requested and received a PIN on my phone which I also entered. All seemed OK until I tried to access the truck. Nothing works. Not the iPhone app, the carabiner key, or the card keys. Service was unable to remotely open the vehicle or even troubleshoot the issue. A tow truck is on the way and I am told it will have to go to go to their major service center in San Jose because of the "complexity of the issue". IF AT ALL POSSIBLE DO NOT UPDATE YOUR SECURITY CREDENTIALS UNTIL THEY FIGURE THIS OUT. They implied that it was a problem with the software that they just installed.
