To be ranked highly in usability (when CR panned it for having an all screen setup) is a big deal. Also, third year in a row where they managed to be the Most Satisfying and Least Reliable brand - kind of shows the vehicles are really that good despite the service issues.

This report is skewed by the fact that the vast majority of every Rivian sold to date is still likely within the 60k/5yr comprehensive warranty period. Wait and see how that number diverges once more and more of the fleet start to age out. That's when the real data will come in.

My experience with Rivian service in spite of the comprehensive warranty coverage, they've always been punctual, responsive and taken great care to supersede my expectations. For that reason alone, I agree with the report.

Agree. Hence I just bought an extended warranty to continue to enjoy the Rivian experience.

The answer is obvious but you're too blind to see it. The answer is that rivian ranks high in ownership cost which is skewed by the fact that the cars are within warranty and everything is fixed for free.

When you have a car that is last in predicted reliability, the ownership cost will greatly affect the overall score.

It's the only reason I'm still here - If the truck wasn't great when it works id be long gone by now. I honestly feel like 'thats me!' when I see these reports come out 🤣

#1 is pretty insane, there's a lot of good vehicles in the world. Goes to show how big of a success the R2 could be if they get it right, and fix the service issues.

In my opinion, this too is skewed. The data corelates to every time a Rivian is brought in for an issue, and given the repairs are free, most customers, myself included, take greater liberties in having those things, sometimes nothing burgers, addressed.
