I'll believe it when I see it. It will be out right around the same time the roadster with SpaceX's Super Dooper rockets is out.
Cybercab production line has been built already. They are arguably further along than R2. They have been giving tours of the production line for months and the progress has been documented by over a year by joe tegtmeyer who flies his drone around Giga Texas. It is a manually driven car because FMVSS regulations do not allow this and we are years away from any technology that would enable millions of self driving cars.

The trillion dollar pay package requires 1 million robotaxis and there is no path to any current technology achieving those numbers. Waymo has the best self driving tech and it would not scale beyond 5K-10K vehicles regardless of production capacity

The production cost of the cybercab is around $18K. it is cheap because the interior is for 2 seats only. HVAC does not work hard as there is minimal glass, everything is well insulated and the car is ultra efficient. It will be around 6 mi/kWh so you only need 40kWh to get 240 miles of range. There was a breakdown of part count and this thing will have 65% less than a model 3. It is slow (maybe 90mph top speed) and front wheel drive. Motor has no rare earth magnets as it is an efficient induction design.

The car has no paint shop as it is just injection molded plastic. The assembly line has almost no human stations at all.

Has rivian mass produced a car before? No.

They also have not had years to iron out issues with said mass produced car.

They will be making shitty cars for a while

The cybercab is a different car entirely as it uses all future technology. Steer by wire, brake by wire, plastic panels, unboxed process, 48v and etherloop. It can be made for under $20K because the battery is only 40kWh
If you dislike Rivian so much, why spend time on the forum? Don't you have better things to do with your life,

At first I thought Tesla zealot troll, but it’s becoming more obvious that they are an enthusiastic middle/high schooler. I’d give the poor kid a break, they have got some good ideas jumbled in with the rest of them. Once they learn to cite sources and apply critical thinking to the statements of CEO’s and PR blurbs I’m pretty sure this kid will go far.

Their profile says their family has an R1S, I presume you are not a fan of it @sunydrm ?

We are referring to model 3/Y which are 97% of their vehicle sales
Those two are noisy and bouncy. Y has no footwell. Tesla's problem is that they aren't great vehicles.

Rivian's problem is service and repairs. Even if it is higher than others, they usually are great when out of service. Tesla's problem cannot be fixed by service.

model 3/Y refresh are not noisy

Which will eventually represent a larger percentage of their vehicles

The ride quality is not bouncy and never was. It was only stiff before. Bouncy ride quality was the mach-e which became unsettled after a jolt and would start bouncing around. Supposedly they fixed that around 2024

I just keep seeing people argue about how bad Tesla is and how bad Rivian is and I have to wonder if I’m just very lucky and/or my tolerance for build quality is much higher than others.

I have a 9 year old Tesla Model S with 112k miles on it. I also have a 3 year old R1S with 42k miles on it. For me both vehicles have been great and I have no complaints with either. My experience with both companies has been polar opposite from the forum complaints.
