As many do, I have a lot of long drives coming up leading up to the Holidays...

I would LOVE to get the update installed as soon as possible. I have a Starlink in the car for now...(will likely return it, but it is quite cool).

As soon as people in the Northeast are getting the update, I'll leave the car outside in hopes of it getting the update...

Happy Holidays to All!!

It was stated last week that it is coming in the coming weeks. So it may not be out until next week

Rivianroamer.com is a good source of showing the status of software update rollouts. They are showing 0% rollout so I’d be surprised if any non-beta (very special) updates have happened

You guys are brave installing a fresh Rivian update right before a road trip. 2,400 miles ahead of me over the next couple of weeks - no way I'm installing any unreviewed update if offered. I'll let someone else find the bugs first.

As a Gen 1... not much here of interest and it generally feels like the whole platform is moving forward and leaving us behind. I just wish they would fix the dang bug that results in not moving your seat back into the defined drive position... literally about 1/3 of the time I get into go. So frustrating.

I've turned off automatic updates on my Rivian. The initial release builds tend to be....problematic. Best to wait for the point release that follows.

Does it happen most when leaving home? Do you have your truck set to stay unlocked at home? If so, hit the Gear Tunnel button once and wait like 3 seconds before opening the door. This wakes the truck up and gets your profile loaded before you open the door. Sounds stupid, and it is very very stupid that they haven't fixed it, but this is a bandaid that prevents the issue. Can I guess, that when this happens it also doesn't move the seat for roomy exit too, right?

I got this email yesterday so I would say next week.

"We’ve identified an issue that prevents certain R1 vehicles from AC charging at home or with Level 2 chargers when in colder weather. A permanent fix for this issue will be available next week in an upcoming OTA update."

Yep. I said the same thing about my Compaq 386.
