I love the center map display.

I've been a huge critic of Phone as Key but this new version looks to be massively better. I can use it now and not be frustrated!

Attached video of a demo drive on a very dirty, snowy, icy rural road where the R1T let me engage hands free. Seems kinda suicidal to me but it let me do it. Still don't see how this makes my life better and I won't pay for it but to each his/her own....

Going to be below zero tonight. Will do a cold soak and attempt a level 2 charge in the morning.

Ah yes...reads "Don't use Universal Hands-Free on slippery, unpaved, wet, or snowy roads." and decides to (upon same day as installing latest software) drive on potentially slippery or snowy roads. Very good thinking.

True enough. But, it let me do it so some bone-head out there is going to be doing it. Be careful everybody!

I just had to make sure it wouldn't stop at red lights. Rivian was right, it blew right through that thing!

Most difficult adjustment for me is increasing/decreasing UHF speed with right scroll wheel instead of adjacent left/right arrows (which now adjust driving style - mild/medium/spicy). I keep trying to increase speed and turning on spicy instead. It'll take awhile to gain muscle memory on this.

Kind of like a "hold my beer and watch this" moment?

My R1T was just flagged and the download started. Have to say, it's the most bizarre download speed, I've ever seen. Just pulsing every second.

I know Unifi when I see it :p They use AWS CloudFront - the logs show it in your network monitor. The download did take about 2x as long as it should have been. Be patient folks

Haven't gotten it yet but I hope it fixes my Vehicle Offline issues while it's sitting in the garage right next to the router. Have to do an infotainment reset for it to start working again.

This seems to have solved my biggest pain point with having multiple Rivians. I can have a different vehicle selected in the app, and it still works to unlock and drive my Gen2.

Just upgraded my phone to digital key, and now I can't turn off passive entry for my wife's phone, which is still on the BLE app key. The toggle is on and shaded out in the access page. Since PAAK hasn't obeyed the off at home setting for months, I'll need to remember to relock the truck after she gets home and walks past it... Grr.

Does the UHF engage even with hands on the steering wheel? And does it still require eyes on road monitoring even with hands on wheel? If so, that’s a feature loss for us :(

This is why I’ve been foaming at the mouth for this for a year - finally a smooth multi Rivian experience!

Also the new driver screen center map is so good - it’s got a better zoom level than the center screen map. Now I just wish I could hide the left modal on the driver screen and get even more map real estate there :)
