Did you read to the end? Author literally wrote "Winner: Rivian R1T" and "Without question I’d recommend the Rivian R1T."Are we really that insecure? Reading the posts here almost had me thinking the reviewer picked the Silverado.
At the end of the day these are targeted at different buyers though there would be some overlap. If you were looking for a truck that was primarily for work or towing the Silverado would be better with the midgate and large bed and battery. For my lifestyle the Rivian is the better choice as I usually don't need the large bed capacity or huge battery and prefer the sportier ride.
I did read it that is why I was surprised by some of the responses in this thread picking on the review, I figured from the responses the review might have had a lot of nit picking.Did you read to the end? My comment was about Tom's Guide content in general. Each one starts out with something along the lines of "I review [x-y-z] for a living and this is what I think". As if that makes them an expert. Well, I pee multiple times daily, does that make me a board-certified urologist?I did read it that is why I was surprised by some of the responses in this thread picking on the review, I figured from the responses the review might have had a lot of nit picking.
Did this site start out as Tom's Hardware? If so, it used to be a great source of PC hardware news and reviews....My comment was about Tom's Guide content in general. Their reviews almost always have flaws, regardless of conclusion. It's not a good site. It's just yet another box of noise on the internet.
Probably. But as with everything that started good but then evolve to turn a profit...Did this site start out as Tom's Hardware? If so, it used to be a great source of PC hardware news and reviews....
Witty, but not applicable here. VERY often a shittier product with more marketing and money gets better sales and exposure.A rising tide floats all boats.
