I'd have to go back and look. But also.... Those trucks didn't even have a dashboard haha. Crazy to see!I wonder if they made these turn signals for the Longway Home series support vehicles.

Could have been Gen 2 quad prototypes too, or tri. One had Dune wheels.Long Way Home was the more recent series, with most-likely stock Gen 2 R1T and R1S.
Yah they didn't really spotlight them. They were just occasionally in the background.Hadn't thought of that - but I'm guessing from the lower-key vibe that particular series had, prototypes weren't needed. Tris would have been more than enough.
Canada isn't Europe, CMVSS108 is largely harmonized with the US' FMVSS 108. Most Canadian vehicles come with US-spec lighting. I'd bet the tiny amber part used as a turn signal is too small to meet surface area requirements for a turn signal in north america. But I found a tail light at ebay with amber turn lights: Part Nr.: PT00012233G -
In Europe the signal lights have to be orange and its not allowed to use the same light for brake light and turn signal. So I am interested to see if this canadian lights would fullfill the european regulations.
Many vehicles have animated signals extending onto moving body parts, as long as the fixed portion meets minimum specs by itself. Some Audi SUVs, IIRC, have animated lights that light up both on the fixed portion and the tailgate, then "sweep off outward".Legally they cannot do the entire lightbar, the law requires brake and turn signal lights cannot be on moving panels, they must be in fixed locations. Though there might be a grey area here since there are already fixed lights providing that purpose.
Ahh yes.. thank you for the clarification. I didn't realize they had a more recent one with Gen 2sLong Way Home was the more recent series, with most-likely stock Gen 2 R1T and R1S. Maybe a different charge port for CCS2 use in Europe? Or an adapter, at least.
Long Way Up was the series with the prototype R1Ts.
That came from this thread for folks who exported Rivians -- based on that post it looks like this is a modified tail light (there's someone out there that does the modification on them). So something like this is needed?
They cannot for a couple of reasonsCan’t they just change the turn signal color using software? They are color LED’s I assume?
LEDs only have one color. The RGB(w) (color) LEDs you are referring to are actually three (or four) separate LEDs (red, green, blue, and white). They cost money to install, so if only one color is needed, only a single-color LED is installed. Sometimes just white LEDs are installed, and the color is set by the plastic housing, just like brake light housings work with traditional bulbs. Can’t they just change the turn signal color using software? They are color LED’s I assume?
