Rocklin, CA New service center?!?

Heard through the grape vine that Rocklin, CA might be getting an SC on Granite Dr in the old Harley Davidson. Anyone else got the low down?

Still shows as an available commercial space on LoopNet, but would love for a service center/RAN combo at that location.

This would be super cool but I’m not 100% sure if we need one here when there’s one in West Sac. Though a Rivian Spaces would be neat.

I live in Roseville so that would be great. Right down the street from the Porsche and Tesla dealers. I’d rather not drive to W Sac

That row also has a Lucid center.. for what it's worth I also heard the same thing about Rocklin being up next for a SC.

Would love if they put in a charging station in Rocklin. It's where I stop on the way to Tahoe to shop at Wally world. When I had my Tesla I would stop to charge and shop with just one stop.

The West Sacramento location isn't really convenient if traveling to Truckee from the Bay Area (I know that's being picky).

With them adding the Placerville RAN station, it'd be great for something more specifically dedicated to 80. Since the Tesla supercharger in Roseville opened up with the magic dock, that's where I stop at, but I'd definitely prefer to use a RAN location instead.

It's official. The Rocklin Service Center is showing up on the service center map on Rivians page as "coming soon". It doesn't say the actual address, but it looks to be very close to the other dealerships.

The West Sacramento SC is like 5 minutes off the freeway no matter which freest route you take through Sacramento so I don’t know how that could be more convenient for a SC along the Bay Area–Truckee corridor. As for a RAN, the Sacramento RAN (in the Costco/REI parking lot) is 1 minute off the freeway if you take the southern freeway loop through Sacramento so that’s also pretty convenient.

I’d definitely take another SC up towards the foothills to decongest the West Sacramento SC and I’m always hoping for more RAN locations everywhere, but I think there are good options already.

I'm thrilled with the new location! However, I will miss dealing with the West Sac service center. I've always had a good experience with the Rivian team there.

I think this is mostly about service center bandwidth. Wait times for appointments are too long and need to be reduced. For those who prefer the West Sac location, it will have reduced wait times as soon as the Rocklin service center opens.

Looks like they just held a hearing last week for 4401 Granite Dr. I'm not sure of any other progress that's been made.

Drove by the Rocklin service center location. Still a work in progress but the chargers are going in.

Was out that way today, grabbed some photos and video.. to me it looks like we are not only getting a service center but a full blown Rivian Space which would be awesome!!
