2026.03 Update Pushed! Now Installing

I got notification of the update but will wait a week or two before installing. I've got a Gen 1 R1T, so there's not anything compelling to me.

I have memories of folks who had their cars out of service as a result of issues in an earlier release.

Every update seems to have bugs recently. I also keep wifi off, wait until it comes over the cell signal, and even then sometimes wait longer depending on reports. I've seen enough bugged updates, and been majorly affected by one, that I don't take any chances any more.

It's the same speed as every other roll out they've ever done. It goes out in waves over a week or two. Connect + doesn't mean you get it the moment it's released.

I’ve had my R1T since Dec ‘22
I’ve gotten an update first day (this update) and a couple of updates a couple to several days later to a week or better - it is genuinely random
Been a connect+ yearly member since the first week offered
Got lucky and didn’t get the update early back when Rivian had issues and had to redo the update in ‘23

No, it isn't slowly rolling. It's rolling just like it always does, at the same rate. Connect+ does not mean day one, as you've been told a hundred times.

It does look like things have stalled out according to Rivian Roamer, although maybe they operate PST and it’s still early for Monday metrics?

(I’ll add the note that this is my first update, so not sure what’s considered “normal” or not. 🫣)

Updates queue at 1pm Pacific Time then taper off through the day. I read this recently from Reddit or here from a post by Rivian Roamer

No, the update has not stalled out. If you search stalled/paused I think this gets brought up eery 15 minutes.

Rivian typically starts waves after noon pacific time. They don't do pushes on holiday/weekends.

Maybe read my complete post for context - I included the subscription comment to point out that even if you have one the download is still random and can be day one or day 10

I too am waiting for the update. Just got the truck Sat. Feb 14 (2026 R1T, Dual, Large Pack, +Performance) I was expecting to see it hit the truck by now. I am new to all this update stuff, coming from a Kia EV6 which essentially had no updates of any value.

Hopefully update is coming soon. I signed up with Rivian Roamer so looking for that email.
